Dean was born in Smithfield NC and made his first trip to Topsail Island as a 3-month-old in 1955. He has been enjoying Topsail ever since. Dean's childhood summers were spent exploring the sounds, creeks, and waterways around Topsail Island and it was at a young age that he developed a passion for saltwater fishing which continues to be his favorite pastime today. Dean is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia and has over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate business as a developer, builder, Broker, and buyer or seller of Timberlands.

Dean has also developed and built a number of homes in the Topsail Island real estate market. Dean has the unique perspective of seeing Topsail island real estate through the eyes of a vacationer, a 2nd homeowner, a developer, and a full-time resident. His passion for real estate and industry knowledge is second to none and comes as great value to his clients. Dean spends his free time indulging his love of saltwater fishing. From the laid-back atmosphere of Topsail, surf fishing to the offshore ventures of Gulfstream sportfish, Dean spends every spare moment enjoying the vast, year-round fishing opportunities that Topsail Island offers.
